A five step process, working with an interior designer takes the headache out of chasing contractors, searching through countless furniture companies, or guessing what lighting might serve your needs.
Where does Studio Bhargava work and on what type of projects?
We are based in Brooklyn, New York but are happy to accept any projects in the continental United States. We work on residential and small scale hospitality projects.
How long will my project take?
Good design takes time and is always worth the patience and investment. The complete design process can take anywhere from 4-8 months, while full-scale renovations can take a year or more.
Do you design for rentals? If so, what is the cost?
Sometimes you just need a few tips to optimize your layout or help finding and purchasing new furniture and light fixtures. Our decoration services can provide you with a one time consultation for quick tips or a series of consultations if you want more hands on, or in person help. These services are charged at a flat hourly rate.
How do you set your design fees for partial design or renovation?
Each project is custom priced. After the consultation, we will prepare a project scope and proposal where we detail the scope of the work and deliver an estimate of our design fees based on projected hours. We’re committed to transparency with our clients and will provide regular updates so you always know where you stand.
What if I want to make changes to my design?
Throughout the design process, we use drawings and renderings to show colors, textures, and styles, so you get an accurate idea of how the final design will look and feel. But revisions are a key aspect of our collaborative design process we discuss what you like and don't like as we move forward to create exactly what is right for you.
